About Higashikaze

The name Higashikaze roughly translates to "east wind" as we are the eastern most iaido dojo in Canada.

The Higsahikaze dojo is located in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Our iaido classes are hosted at the Wilmot United Church located on King Street. Classes run form 7pm until 8:30 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The classes are structured on a per person basis, so if you are knowledgable about the art or a beginner you are welcome to all of the classes.

The dojo's fees are $40 a month and are used to help with the cost of the facilities, new equipment, or other special activities that the dojo may host. You are always welcome to stop by the dojo and watch or even participate for a couple of sessions before you decide to join.

Class Hours:
Tuesday 7:00 - 8:30
Thursday 7:00 - 8:30
Instructor: Bill Anderson

Full members are expected to register with the Canadian Kendo Federation.
